About Our Foundation
Wanting to make a difference in our world, Hearth, Heart & Hope Foundation was established in 2019 in Tumwater, WA. As a new 501c3 charity, we are working hard to improve the lives of those in need. Here you can learn more about who we are and what we do.
What We Do
Our family has just started a non-profit foundation called Hearth, Heart & Hope Foundation. Our purpose is three-fold.
Hearth~Helping SSI/SSDI recipients with affordable housing.
Heart~Making hand-made dresses for vulnerable girls.
Hope~Financing mission relief projects around the world.

Affordable Housing for SSI/SSDI Recipients
First part is the Hearth. We want to help SSI/SSDI recipients with affordable housing. The inspiration for this comes from my son and daughter who both have Cystic Fibrosis. It is a life shortening disease with many, many hospitalizations and extremely expensive medications. Their medical bills are astronomical resulting in us staying low income to qualify for state insurance. My kids will always battle Cystic Fibrosis. There is no cure. With the insurance needs as they are, they must be on SSI. This only makes about $750 a month which is not enough to live on. With SSI they are not allowed to make any additional income. Our goal with the foundation is to buy homes or apartments in which we could rent to SSI/SSDI participants at very reduced rates. This would help them achieve the independence that they need.
Hand Made Dresses for Vulnerable Girls
Part two of the foundation is Heart. We have a heart for vulnerable, impoverished girls around the world who are targets for sex traffickers. We hand make dresses to give to the girls. When they have a nice dress, the sex traffickers tend to think they are being cared for and let them be. We have a monthly sewing group for seamstresses of all levels to make simple, easy dresses.

Funding Missions
The third part of our foundation is Hope. We want to be able to finance young people to go out into the world and make a difference with hands on charity projects. In the end they not only change lives of others but themselves as well. Making the world a better place by bringing hope. Contact us to learn more.
